About: Launching a regulated Centralized Exchange (CEX) in the UAE
Key Responsibilities: - Architect and build order book & matching engine - Design settlement and custody systems - Implement real-time trading infrastructure (low latency, WebSockets) - Integrate custody providers (Fireblocks, Copper, BitGo) - Build market surveillance & anti-manipulation tools - Lead technical sections of exchange license applications
Requirements: 5+ years building trading systems, high-performance matching engines, custody & wallet infrastructure, real-time system architecture, crypto regulatory knowledge (VARA, MAS, FCA)
Nice to Have: Built exchange 0→1, managed $100M+ daily trading volume, market making/algorithmic trading, liquidity aggregation
